Ангел Николов - 30 - Hungary

"..."
As a child, Angel struggled to control his emotional outbursts and, after surviving a house fire that claimed the lives of his immediate family, his temper became even more exaggerated. Wanting to help the newly orphaned boy, Angel's uncle, Mitko, took him in. He raised Angel to the best of his ability, hoping to tame some of the boy's anger. Mitko quickly found that when Angel played sports, he stopped destroying the world around him.
Angel's sport of choice? Hockey.
As an adult, Angel's entire life revolves around hockey, the sport mediating his emotions to the point of lethargy and apathy. While he can't put a name to the feeling, a persistent desire for more gnaws at him.
He craves guidance and structure. He craves the ability to shut himself off and allow others to take the wheel. He has a will to be molded and bent to serve a purpose.
With no permanent ties to anything other his strict training regimen, Angel turns to religion, hoping to find "more." A higher power. A higher purpose. Something he can absorb and strive through for "more". Mitko, not knowing or understanding Angel's reasoning, feels nothing but pride that his beloved nephew is turning into a fine young man.
This couldn't be farther from the truth, but you can't blame the man for hoping.
But after receiving a strange letter in the mail, Angel finds something better to fill his void with.
